Top 10 Music Festivals of 2014
BUKU Music + Art Project
March 21st + 22nd
Relatively new to our radar, BUKU caught our attention in 2013 with an amazing lineup featuring artists like Major Lazer, Best Coast, Kid Cudi and Kendrick Lamar.
BUKU is considered a wee bit understated and has yet to deliver a lineup brimming with star power in the likes of its predecessors, but we love the direction things are headed. You probably couldn’t ask for more appropriate culture for a music festival than New Orleans. As you might suspect, things are different in the south.
One of our favorite perks about BUKU fest comes tacked along in the clout of VIP admission — access to an authentic riverboat with premier views of the mainstage that is (quite dangerously) an open bar. Those who cannot handle their drink are much better suited for the general admission population.
The 2014 edition of BUKU promises to improve upon the big easy formula and deliver a handful of big names like Nas, Chromeo and Danny Brown. BUKU tickets are on sale right now so pick one up and finally make good on your lifetime dream of gambling on a casino riverboat.
