Electric Daisy Carnival is an electronic-music festival held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with 345,000 people attending on average. From the Las Vegas setting to the music itself, this festival keeps the motor running endlessly over the span of 3 days. Make sure you bring enough Red Bull to survive the weekend.
The festival really serves as who’s who of the DJ world — most recent installments playing host to Avicii, Major Lazer and Above & Beyond. For better or worse, EDC has ingrained itself in the life line of US producers, drawing crowds out in systematic droves.
As much as it might be a turn off for some purists, there’s little denying Electric Daisy Carnival’s overall presence. We rank it higher in our top 10 list for its unmistakable influence in bringing EDM to the forefront of the major music scene in America.
