10 Best US Music Festivals of 2013: #3 Sasquatch!Late May

Settling right snug into our #3 spot is Sasquatch! — easily the most scenic US music festival on our entire list. We can’t think of a better place to witness some of the most memorable live performances each year than at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.

Sasquatch! is essentially the ultimate indie rock festival held annually in the US, but the festival also caters to genres like singer-songwriter, alternative rock, hip hop and the occasional EDM offering. As of 2012, the music festival has incorporated five stages of performances, some of which are actually comedy acts.

What makes Sasquatch! so awesome? One of the best components to these festivals is the ability to camp onsite — not only are you treated to some of the best music in the country, you’re treated to a premiere camping excursion with the choice of venues. See how you feel waking up to the picturesque landscapes of Washington compared to the dirty and sweltering camps at Coachella.

This year’s installment boasted one of the best lineups we’ve seen from Sasquatch! — including Vampire Weekend, Sigur Rós, The Postal Service and Earl Sweatshirt. The natural acoustics of the 4 day fest are enough to convince you’re dreaming the entire weekend.
