The Bonnaroo Muscical and Arts Festival Review

The Bonnaroo Musical and Arts Festival rocked Manchester, Tennessee this weekend and it was amazing! From the music to all of the different activities, it was one of the best festivals I have been to.

The music festival spanned over four days on a 700-acre farm. The 13th year for the festival had over 200 performers as well as celebrity appearances and surprising collaborations.

Man Men’s John Hamm and The Hangover’s Zack Galifianakis sang “We are the World” to kick off the Bonnaroo Festival. This was just one of many collaborations from the weekend. I also was able to see Earth Wind and Fire jam out with Change the Rapper and Kendrick Lamar. This was one of the coolest events of the whole festival and definitely brought down the house.

Florence + the Machine always put on a good show, but their performance at the festival was one of the best performances I have ever seen. Florence Henderson had the most energy out of everyone! That girl was all over the stage while singing hit songs.

Billy Joel closed out the festival to around 80,000 fans. Even though you could see him get pretty irritated killing some insects swarming around him during a few of his songs, he still put on a killer show.

Other acts during the 4-day shindig included Deadmau5, Robert Plant, Hozier, Tears For Fears and much more. One cool thing about this festival is the variety of performers that attend. Many of them actually perform together and rock out special cover songs of past hits along with their current hits. It is also a great place to catch some artists you are not familiar with. I always walk away from the festival with a new list of bands I love.

After this year’s Bonnaroo Musical and Arts Festival, I cannot wait to see how they will top it next year. It is a festival you must put on your bucket list!
