Neil Diamond Melody Road Tour

NeilNeil Diamond’s live tour to promote his recent comeback album: Melody Road, will cover at least nine different venues, in Australia and New Zealand, starting from October 19. The award-winning singer and songwriter’s nine-date tour will enable him to perform at various arenas and wineries in both countries from October to November. The tour is scheduled to begin at Vector Arena in Auckland on October 19 and then move on to Dunedin, Melbourne, Adelaide and other cities till it ends at Perth on November 16.

During the tour, Diamond will entertain his fans with songs from Melody Road. This album became one of the Top 10 hits on music charts in the United States and Australia shortly after it was released. In addition, his audiences will also be entertained with many of Diamond’s classic hit songs like “Love on the Rocks”, “Sweet Caroline”, “Solitary Man”, “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers”, “Song Sung Blue”, “Cracklin Rose”, “Cherry Cherry” and many others.

Diamond’s 32nd studio album made its debut at No. 8, in October 2014, on the ARIA chart. Although it was his first studio album containing freshly written songs since he released Home Before Dark in 2008. Melody Road opened at No.3 on Billboard 200 to make this Neil Diamond’s 18th album that will appear among the Top 10 on major global music rating charts.

Neil Diamond’s numerous albums, hit tracks and live music shows have earned him several awards including induction into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame, Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame and a Grammy Award. He has also been awarded Sammy Cahn’s Lifetime Award for prolific songwriters. Other awards that have been given to celebrate Diamond’s stellar career include: the Person of the Year Award given by NARAS MusiCares in 2009 and the Kennedy Center Honor for his sterling contributions to American culture, in 2011.

This tour is being promoted by the Dainty Group which is led by Paul Dainty. Dainty said that Neil is one of the world’s greatest performers and he has had the privilege to work together with him for over 30 years. Paul is confident that the inspiration and power in Neil Diamond’s songs will provide an exceptional live concert experience for each audience. At the time of this writing, few tickets for Neil Diamond “Melody Road” tour are still available for first hand sale because tickets have been on sale since December 2015. However, tour tickets can still be obtained from ticket brokerage sites.

Neil Diamond’s Australia and New Zealand tour will begin at the Vector Arena in Auckland on Oct. 19 and move to Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on Oct. 24. Diamond will entertain the fans in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena on Oct. 27 and people in Adelaide will have a chance to listen to him live at the Adelaide Entertainment Center on Oct. 31. Brisbane Entertainment Center will be the venue of the live concert in Brisbane on Nov. 3 while Tempus Two Winery in Hunter Valley will host Neil on Nov. 7 before he proceeds to the Allphones Arena in Sydney on Nov. 9. The current tour schedule will be rounded off in Perth with live performances at Sandalford Wines on Nov. 14, and at the Perth Arena on Nov. 16.
