It has been 30 years since Nintendo released the epic Super Mario Bros game. It goes down in history as one of the most popular video games of all times. For three decades, people have grown to love Mario and the other characters in the game. In honor of the anniversary, three Super Mario Bros Cafes offered fans the ultimate Mario experience.

Three Tower Records store hosted a two-week long event in three different cities in Japan. The cities offered a Mario Bros Café complete with Mario-themed food and drinks. Guests could order a Mario latte, a Super Star rice omelet, Banana Block Tira Misu, Ground Stage Waffle or a Piranha Plant Soda. These were just some items on the menu, there were plenty more to chose from.

Not only did the café offer food and drinks that included characters and themes from the iconic game, they also had scratch off tickets with prizes and discounts. Everything was really decked out in Mario. Also, all customers received a limited edition game coaster.

The cafes in Japan were open for the last two weeks in June, but hopefully they were such a success that something like this could turn into a full-time café. I know a lot of Nintendo fans would love to come visit and dine at a Super Mario Bros themed café!
