Let the Compromises Begin: EDC Schedule 2013 is Here
So what do we think, EDC fans? Where does the real heartbreak of compromising your schedule begin? Let’s discuss.
First of all, we somewhat agree with the fuss being raised about the strictly 1 hour set times. Audiences are looking for an experience and DJs need time to create that. We’re more than a little disappointed to see larger acts like Porter Robinson cut down. Will these sets still translate?
Aside from a few scattered trance conflicts, we’re most heartbroken over Hardwell and A-Trak playing conflicting sets. A-Trak is a flat out performer but we’ll more than likely be missing him this year to catch the harder to track down Hardwell. It’s hard to say you’d be losing out either way here, whichever you choose between the two, but it’s certainly a shame as we predict both sets being very memorable.
Friday looks to be potentially the wildest nights at EDC this year. We’re not sure about you, but we have every intention of huddling close to the front of the main stage throughout the course of the day.
In nearly 48 hours from now, the mayhem is set to begin. Who are you most forward to seeing this year?
