Coachella releases first announcement video for 2014 festival…

If you venture over to the official Coachella site, you’ll be greeted with the video above. The video depicts several Coachella volunteers prepping the polo fields for action during April — nearly 100 days away. So close but so far.

The arrival of the first announcement video implies the official lineup is a mere matter of days from being released. According to legend, the lineup will most likely be posted on a Monday in order to accommodate the final push for tickets the following Friday. Thus, you may begin frantically checking for updates starting the 6th, although our money is on the January 20th — usually takes a couple weeks worth of teasers.

Plenty has changed since we posted our potential Coachella lineup — here’s a more educated guess of artists we expect to see on the billing (hopefully) later this month.
