The water-base ride takes guests through different cultures of the world promoting global peace. It opened in 1966 and the theme song is known throughout the world still to this day. It is a song that can be translated into all different languages. The ride is named after the song, Walt wanted a song that could be easily translated into different languages and told his songwriters. They came up with it and he named the attraction from Children of the World to It’s a Small World.

The theme song for the popular ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, has been said to be loosely based off of the sea-shanty Dead Man’s Chest in the novel Treasure Island. The song was composed in 1967 specifically for the attraction. It is a lot of fun and is a symbol of the ride. The original version of the ride opened in Disneyland in 1967 and the song is still very much famous.

This song is a lot of fun and favorite among kids. It is the official song for the enchanted Tiki Room. Staff songwriters wrote the song in 1963 and it is the first time a song was written for an audio-animatronics attraction. It is a very catchy song and goes great with the theme of the Tiki Room.
