Lorde may the latest act joining the 2014 Coachella lineup. The 17-year-old New Zealand pop star who took the world by storm with her single ‘Royals’ recently announced her North American tour dates – dates that conspicuously end just five days before Coachella in April. Hmm.

While the North American leg of the tour technically ends in March, Lordes final scheduled dates are segmented for the international portion of Lollapalooza, the last date taking place in San Paulo, BR.

While we’re purely speculating at this point, this one passes the eye test – especially considering the final shows are associated with another music festival. We’re willing to bet Lorde wouldn’t mind confirming the Coachella dates herself, only she – like so many of our favorite artists – are strictly withheld from such spoilers. Patience is a virtue, my friends.

Adding Lorde to the Coachella lineup would be a huge get for the next installment of the Valley Music and Arts Festival. Truth be told, the Grammy nominated artist (4 in total) is virtually due for the festival circuit since her single hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. This would certainly make for the most logical evolution in this promising artist’s young career.

Look for Coachella to release their official lineup closer to February.
