Lollapalooza 2014 Headliners

Lollapalooza in Chicago is just around the corner (August 1-3) and the festival made major news this week with their first batch of major headliners. According to local source Chicago Tribune, those big names include Eminem, Skrillex, Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys.

Eminem last headlined the festival during 2011. Skrillex is a big get for the EDM side of this year’s Lolla, also a regular player at the festival. Kings of Leon recently returned to the major festival circuit and provide the token arena rock booking here. Finally, Arctic Monkeys, also appeared at 2011 and have been considered a dark horse headliner for major US festivals this year on the heels of their latest album release.

The official lineup will be announced nearly a week from now. What else should we expect from this Chicago staple?  Here’s the running list of artists expected in the Windy City in 2014,
