HARD Summer Hotel Guide
We like to break the HARD Summer Hotel Guide in different tiers. We’re sensitive toward those who require a strict budget — as former college students that love attending the annual festival, we’re all too aware what a game changer finding a cheap room can bring to your trip. That being said, let’s discuss a few possible options.
Cheap HARD Summer Hotels
Hotels: Knight’s Inn, Rodeway Inn, Super 8 Motel.
Pro: Cheapest way to spend two days in the LA area. Service generally suffers and rooms occasionally can be dirty. Be prepared for noise complaints.
Con: Generally requires some form of transportation — the further away from the festival, the cheaper the rate. Cost of transportation can easily affect your budget.
Best HARD Summer Hotels
Hotels: Double Tree, Hilton.
Pro: Generally walking distance from LA Historic Park, superior amenities and accommodations.
Con: Price is a factor, but occasionally you can get great deals on rooms.
