Our Super Short Notice HARD Red Rocks 2013 Preview
Before HARD comes to California in early August, some of the festivals’s biggest acts take a scenic detour to Morrison, CO for one night at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre.
Much like Washington’s Gorge Ampitheatre, Red Rocks is about the best venue you could ask for — supplying unparalleled scenic views and natural acoustics that carry the sound in ways even the flashiest indoor venues can’t replicate. The lineup features Destructo, Diplo, Disclosure, Flosstradamus and Knife Party — all of whom are having busy summers, spinning at the Mad Decent Block Party 2013 and hitting Electric Daisy Carnival London 2013 before Red Rocks. Some of these artists will also cap the whole thing off with Holy Ship! 2014.
As most HARD fans don’t make the trek up north for Red Rocks, this marks the perfect opportunity for locals to take part in the 2013 EDM circuit. If you’re a Colorado native and you’ve been listening to the latest Disclosure album on repeat, you don’t want to miss out on this one.
HARD Red Rocks 2013 Tickets
From what we see, tickets are still available. General admission typically runs around $60 with VIP tickets running around $80 — more than reasonable for a single day event. If you’re willing to splurge a little more for VIP, you’ll get some of the best viewing spots available in the entire venue. Do it.
