Duran Duran recently performed to a sold-out crowd at the Hollywood Bowl and fans were not disappointed. Over 17,000 Duranies sang and danced along to their favorite songs in Hollywood last week. Some fans even said that was the best performance they have ever witnessed by the legendary band.

Duran Duran belted out their classic hits like Hungry Like the Wolf, The Reflex, Planet Earth and Come Undone. Producer Nile Rodgers even joined the band on stage to perform some songs. Rodgers’ band Chic opened up for Duran Duran and was a crowd favorite.

A lot of fans were really impressed with Le Bon’s vocals. He has worked for years with a vocal therapist and it shows. He had a very clear and crisp voice that wowed the crowd. Plus, the band played for a full 90 minutes so that is a lot of singing for Le Bon. His voice issues forced the band to cancel a tour back in 2011, but it sounds like Duran Duran is back and better than ever.

Not only did Le Bon sing his heart out, he also did a lot of talking. The Hollywood Bowl has a strict curfew because of its location, so Le Bon’s chatting may have cut Duran Duran’s set short, but the crowd didn’t seem to mind.

I have never read so many positive reviews about a show before. Fans were elated with Duran Duran’s performance and everyone, including the band members, walked away from the show very happy.
