There are millions and millions of albums out there. Some are amazing and some well, should have never been released. But there are also some that have the craziest and most bizarre album covers ever. It makes you ask, what in the world were they thinking?
David Hasslehoff – Do The Limbo Dance
Well, everything the Hoff does is absolutely ridiculous. But especially his cover for the album Do the Limbo Dance. It was released in the early 1990s, during the time when he was very popular thanks to Baywatch. But just because he was good in Baywatch, doesn’t mean he needs to go off and start a music career. Most of his album covers and music videos were hilarious. But something about this cover makes me cringe and wonder what in the world he was trying to achieve.
Fabio – After Dark
Fabio is a joke all around. I do not know how or why he became so famous in the 1990s. He was a model that was all over the place and he decided to try music. And it was awful. The front and even the back of his album After Dark might have been worse than his music. It is absolutely creepy, but I think a lot of women loved it.
Orleans – Waking & Dreaming
The soft rock band Orleans were popular back in the 1970s even with this album cover. The cover for the 1976 album Waking and Dreaming is creepy and weird. I have no idea what look they are trying to go for, but it might be one of the weirdest and most unexplainable covers of all time. The band still went on to top the charts, even with this album.
Crosby Stills & Nash – Live it Up
It is hard to believe this album was released in 1990. I have no idea what it means or what they were trying to do. But it is just stupid. I have never really been a fan of this band and this album cover makes me dislike them even more. I think it is a failed attempt at trying to be artsy and gain attention. Just remember, not all publicity is good.
