The Masquerade in Atlanta is celebrating 25 successful years. It is a legendary live music venue and the Wrecking Ball festival this year is in honor of the 25th anniversary.
This is a killer 2 day punk show filled with the best punk, emo and hardcore music. Some acts have been around for decades, while others are newer. Over 60 bands are scheduled to play on 4 different stages.
The festivities kick off on August 7th with a punk rock karaoke event. You can get tickets to watch some of your favorite artists participate. This year you can check out people from NOFX, Social Distortion and Bad Religion.
The concerts start on August 8th with some awesome bands headlining. You can check out Chumped, Braid, Get Up Kids and one of my all time favorites, Descendents. Many more bands will be playing on all 4 stages that day as well.
On August 9th, you can see even bigger named bands. Foundation, Knapsack and many more bands will be hitting the stage on the final day of the festival. But the big time headling bands are the ones that I really want to see. Coheed and Cambria and Thrice will be the main headliners and I couldn’t be more excited.
Last I checked out, tickets were sold out. I would still keep checking back and trying to get your hands on these tickets because it is going to be one of the best festivals of the year!
