Moon River Brewery

The Moon River Brewery is one of the oldest buildings in Savannah, Georgia. The building dates back to 1821 and opened as a brewery in 1999. It used to be City Hotel, an expensive hotel with a lot of history from the Civil War. A lot of men were murdered in the hotel, including one who was beaten to death. Bar guests have said they have seen bottles fly through the air and some have even said they have felt being pushed or touched. Looks like the ghosts of the men killed there still haunt the building today.

Villisca Axe Murder House

The house is located at 508 East Second Street in Iowa and was the scene of a gruesome crime on June 10, 1912. The brutal murder of Josiah Moore, his wife, his 4 children and 2 young girls who were visiting, stunned the small country town. They never did find out who was responsible. But since then, residents of the home have said they have seen visions of a man holding an ax and have heard children crying. There have also been a number of unexplained paranormal activities reported inside the house. The home was restored in 1994 to its original condition with no electricity or plumbing. The grisly home hosts lamplight tours from April to November. Overnight experiences are also available to people who really want to experience the Villisca Axe Murder House. Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum

Back in 1864, the asylum in West Virginia was known as the Weston State Hospital and housed thousands of patients with mental illness. Sadly, hundreds of people ended up dying there and the facility closed its doors in 1994. It is said that the spirits of these patients still haunt the spot today. The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum offers 2-hour paranormal tours that take guests to four spots that are known to be the most haunted areas of the hospital. If you are really looking for a scare, you can go on the 8-hour ghost hunt, which is an overnight paranormal experience with trained ghost-hunters.
