Travel Along Australia’s Coast to the 2018 Byron Bay Bluesfest

It is almost that time of year. Time for the internationally renowned Byron Bay Bluesfest. The award-winning music festival takes place every year over the long Easter weekend. This year’s lineup definitely doesn’t disappoint!

Kicking off on March 29th, the 29th annual Byron Bay Bluesfest will take place over 5 days with 12 hours of music each day, at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm.

The festival is located just north of Byron Bay. (Byron Bay is a charming town near the New South Wales and Queensland border on the south-eastern coast of Australia).

This year’s Byron Bluesfest will host more than two hundred performers and thousands of festival goers. Headline acts include big names like Lionel Ritchie, Robert Plant, Lauryn Hill, Sheryl Crow and Jackson Browne, to name just a few.

It is the perfect reason for overseas visitors or locals to take a road trip along the east coast of breathtaking Australia. The contemporary music festival is a great destination for your camping trip, whether in your own privately purchased campervan or in a campsite at the festival grounds.

The campsite at the music festival accommodates around 6,000 campers for the event. The festival grounds will be topped off with various stages, bars, beer gardens, food courts, market stalls and even entertainment for children.

The weather is expected to be ideal at the end of March, with temperatures averaging around a high of 77 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of around 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
