JLo Hosts American Music Awards This Sunday

The annual American Music Awards show airs this Sunday night and you can be sure host Jennifer Lopez will bring quite a show. Taylor Swift leads with six nominations this year with Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd each earning five nominations.

Lopez will be performing during the awards show, which was created in 1973 for ABC by the one and only Dick Clark. The network’s contract expired with the Grammy Awards so Clark stepped in and invented the American Music Awards Show where the viewers and the public always determine awards.

Along with Lopez performing, other artists taking the stage this year include Gwen Stefani, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Coldplay, Walk the Moon, Carrie Underwood and many more.
